About Me

I am an artist living in Seattle.  I spent my childhood living in the wilderness one mile from the Mt. Rainier National Park entrance (Carbon River) and my exposure to nature has, to this day, influenced my artistic preferences and style.  I love experimenting with new techniques, mediums, and ideas.  I approach my work in a carefree way, since I never have a definite outcome in mind.  My "final products" have an element of surprise to me, which makes the process that much more enjoyable.

I have many interests and hobbies, including geology, history, music, gardening, and beadwork.  I am fascinated by arts and sciences and am always engaged in several projects as once.
